East Credit has really grown over the past 20 years or so when the houses began to pop up in the area. Most of the homes are large detached or semi detached which provides great options for people with growing families. East Credit residents also love having all of their shopping and dining needs at their doorstep in the Heartland Town Centre area. The Shopping

There are endless options for shopping in the East Credit area of Mississauga. The hub is located at Mavis and Britannia where you will find Heartland Town Centre, home to many big box retailers, restaurants and grocery stores. There are many retail outlet locations where you can grab some good deals on whatever you are looking for.

The Houses

East Credit is a relatively young community when it comes to the age of houses in the area. Most of the community has been built and developed over the past 20 years so you will find many homes that do not need much work at all to move into.

Braeben Golf Course

Braeben is located on top of a hill with spectacular panoramic views of the city and surrounding areas. The course is quite a challenge, even for advanced golfers. Braeben is city owned and a public course that anyone can book a round at. There are many lesson packages and leagues that are worth looking into as well.

The Location

East Credit is located in the northern part of Mississauga, right in between highway 401 and 403. Those are the best options for commuting from the area to in and out of the city. The Streetsville GO and Erindale GO are not too far away if taking the train is your preference.

Hinote Sushi Restaurant:

Head to Hinote if you're looking for some fresh sushi. The restaurant is small so make sure to make a reservation or be prepared to have a bit of a wait for table.

Masala Bites:

This is one of the best Indian buffets you'll find in the city. The food is fresh and served hot and there are plenty of choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

3 Brewers Heartland:

If you're looking for a great pub nearby to watch a game, this is the spot. The beer-battered maxi fries are a delicious starter and make sure to check out the selection of craft beers.

Driving:

Using the 401 or 403, it will take you approximately 50-70 minutes to get into downtown Toronto during busy traffic times.

GO Train:

The Streetsville GO Station is close by and can get you into Toronto in approximately 40 minutes. You can also use the Erindale GO Station which is fairly close by. Check out the GO schedules below:
