The Erindale community is bounded by Burnhamthorpe Road to the north, Mavis Road to the east, Mississauga Road to the south, and on the west side by Mississauga Road.  Erindale features Huron Park, an excellent community centre with many fitness and athletic programs for people of all ages.  There is also the Credit Valley Golf Club for those avid golfers looking to join one of the top private clubs in the GTA.  If you’re looking to live near one of the city’s best parks in a quiet community, living in Erindale might just be for you.

No.1
The Location

Erindale is an area full of parks and quieter neighbourhoods, with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby to the east and west. This is a great location for someone who loves the outdoors and doesn’t mind a bit longer commute when travelling in and out of the city.

The Park

Erindale Park is the largest park in the city of Mississauga. There are many bbq areas, walking trails, fishing areas and a great hill for tobogganing in the winter. Head to the park during the fall season for a beautiful walk, run or bike ride along the Credit River.

The Commute

Erindale is a bit further from the major highway arteries that will get you across the GTA. However, there is Erindale GO station that can get you into Union Station in Toronto within 40 minutes during rush hour times.

No.4
University of Toronto Mississauga

Right in the middle of Erindale is the University of Toronto Mississauga location. This is a great option for families who have a child looking to attend university but also live at home while attending. This is also a great opportunity for people looking to purchase a property with an income property as there are always out of town students looking to rent a unit close to the university.

Driving:

From Erindale, the commute to downtown will take approximately 40-50 minutes during peak times as you will need to cut across Dundas all the way to the 427 or head south to the QEW/Gardiner.

GO Train:

The Erindale GO Station is a good choice for commuting to downtown Toronto as you can into the city in 40 minutes during rush hour.  Check out the GO schedule below:
