Small town charm with big city amenities. Welcome to Living in Streetsville.
The Streetsville community is bounded by Britannia Road to the north, Creditview Road to the east, Eglinton Avenue to the south, and on the west side by Erin Mills Boulevard. Streetsville’s Queen Street that runs right through downtown truly is a gem. Locals frequent the shops, bakeries, bars and restaurants and really get to know the shop owners which helps to create that small town vibe. If you’re looking for a community with a fantastic main street full of shops and restaurants and a sprawling park right next door, living in Streetsville might just be for you.
Streetsville boasts one of the best main streets in Mississauga. Head up and down Queen Street South to check out the shops and restaurants and then take a stroll across the street to Streetsville Memorial Park for a walk alongside the Credit River.
Streetsville Memorial Park is a wonderful spot to head with the family or friends. The park includes a community centre, baseball diamond, playground, soccer field and an outdoor pool.
Since 1973, the Streetsville Bread and Honey Festival has been held on the first weekend of June. The festival includes a carnival, live music and of course plenty of bread and honey. Bring the family down early on the Saturday morning to get a prime spot to view the Bread and Honey Parade.
Streetsville is located in the northwest corner of Mississauga. There is the Streetsville GO station if you are looking to get into downtown Toronto in approximately 40 minutes during morning rush hour. It is also right near the 401 and close to the 403 to get you across the city.
