Lakeside living next door to the big city.  Welcome to Living in Lakeview.

The Lakeview community is bounded by the QEW to the north, Dixie Road to the east, Lakeshore Road to the south, and on the west side by Cawthra Road.  Whether you enjoy going out for a walk by the lake, a boat ride on Lake Ontario, or any other outdoor/water activities, Lakeview is the place for you.  There are baseball parks, soccer fields and more down by the water and within minutes of anywhere you choose to settle in Lakeview.  The stretch along Lakeshore Road that runs through Lakeview continues to be developed and revitalized, making this area a very attractive option.  If you’re looking to live down by the water and next door to Toronto, living in Lakeview might just be for you.

Top Things I Love About Lakeview
No.1
The Neighbourhood

Lakeview is a neighbourhood that is continually being revamped and revitalized. Therefore, as development continues to progress, Lakeview will share many of the characteristics of the neighbouring Port Credit with shops and restaurants running along Lakeshore Road, east of Cawthra Road. There are new condo and townhouse projects sprouting up and this community will continue to be a desirable one to get into.

No.2
The Park and Golf Course

Lakeview Park and the trails along Lakefront Promenade are perfect spots for a walk or bike ride with beautiful views looking over Lake Ontario. There is also a public boat launch and a splash pad to take the kids to. Lakeview Golf Course is one of the best public golf courses in the GTA. Located just north of Lakeshore Road on Dixie Road, this course is a very popular spot for golfers from all over the Greater Toronto Area as it is so easily accessible coming from the east or west using the Gardiner/QEW or Lakeshore Road. Make sure to book your tee time early as it fills up quickly.

No.3
The Houses

The houses in Lakeview have quite a range in age and styles. There are many older homes that would be great projects for first time homebuyers in addition to condos and townhouses popping up along Lakeshore Road. If you are looking for a more affordable option than Port Credit, but with many amenities close by, Lakeview might be an area worth considering for you.

No.4
The Commute

Lakeview is really an ideal location if you are a commuter. You have the QEW just minutes away and you are right in between two GO stations, Port Credit GO and Long Branch GO. You can get into Toronto within 30 minutes using the GO and the trains run every half an hour during peak times.
