Lorne Park is a quiet, tranquil area of Mississauga that is on the edge of Lake Ontario and an easy commute into downtown Toronto.  The neighbourhood does not feature big box stores or many strip malls which keeps the amount of traffic throughout the area at a minimum.  If you’re looking to live in a community with large lots, quiet streets and mature trees, living in Lorne Park might just be for you.

Resting on the edge of Lake Ontario, Jack Darling Park is a perfect spot to get away with family or friends for a picnic, a hike, or a dip in the lake on a hot summer day. There are barbeques on site in addition to plenty of different spaces to set up for lunch. The park also boasts one of the largest fenced in dog parks in Ontario that canine lovers love to frequent.

Driving:

While living in Lorne Park, you are close to several access points to get onto the QEW/Gardiner.  The commute can take anywhere from 40-60 minutes or so during rush hour times.

GO Train:

The Port Credit GO Station is less than 10 minutes to the east along Lakeshore Road and Clarkson GO Station is only 10 minutes west of Lorne Park along Lakeshore Road.  Furthermore, Clarkson GO offers several express trains during rush hour that go directly from Clarkson GO to Union Station.  Check out the GO schedules below:
