Don’t worry, most of us leave taking our family photos with Santa Clause until the last minute:) The good thing is that you can get your insta-worthy shot pretty much right up until Christmas Eve at a lot of different locations. We’ve posted a few spots in Mississauga below that you can get your 2018 photos with Santa taken.

This is a great location but I will forwarn you, if you don’t show up early enough in the day, you could be waiting quite some time in a line-up. The great part about this Sant location is you can hear a story and visit with Rudolph.

This is probably the busiest place to get your photo taken with Santa because there are a lot of out of towners that come to Square One and this is the premier “Christmas Shopping” mall.

Not quite Mississauga but worth the drive for the spectacle. You have to purchase tickets in advance but you can be a part of a live Santa Experience and you can take your own photos!

This is another great location for people on the east end of the city and a mall with less traffic overall.

I live right around the corner from here so I can attest that it has the lowest amount of traffic of all the locations. If you are in a hurry and not planning to mix in any shopping with your Santa visit, you’ll want to come here.

You can also get some really amazing photos at one of the Mississauga Historical houses below on December 14th, 2018 from 12pm-4pm

Bradley Museum, 1620 Orr Road
Benares Historic House, 1507 Clarkson Road North
Leslie Log House, 4415 Mississauga Road

As a parent who mayyyyybe has done this at the last minute a few times, I am going to share a few tips to help you out.

  1. Show up early to avoid the midday rush and line-ups. It’s a no-brainer but plan on getting the kids ready and out the door first thing if you don’t want to be standing around long.
  2. Have snacks or activities ready for your kids. They can stay quite entertained at the thought of a picture with Santa, but that can wean off fast.
  3. Don’t go around nap time…. i’ve made this mistake and regretted it right away:)
  4. Plan to get in line during a “Santa Break”. The old guy needs to go to the washroom and eat too. He takes several breaks throughout the day and the lines get really thin at this time. If you show up 15-20 minutes before he is scheduled to come back, you will get a good spot in the line regardless of the time of day you go.

Good Luck!
